Congratulations - Graduate Card

Today's card is not your typical Graduation Card.  I wanted something for a young lady that would look great but be simple and easy to make.  The design is clean and can be used for any occasion. The background is the Darice Large Petal. I love how the black with white embossed mat looks so sophisticated, the embossing really pops on the card.  I hope the young graduate, enjoys the card as much as I did making it.

Happy - Female Birthday Card

I created a card using chevron papers that I cut into strips to create the background.  I cut the word happy with my Cameo out of a strip of white scrap paper.  I intended the background to show through but I did not like the look so I cut a strip of solid color to go under the white.  I like how this card turned out.  It is a great card for any age, male or female.  It is quick and easy to make, that can be done in a few minutes.

Supplies
A2 Card - White card stock
Chevron Strips - 1 1/8" X 4" - 3 in one color and 2 in another
Solid Strip - 2" x 5 3/8" - purple
Banner - 2.5" x 5 1/4" - white - happy (Eras Bold ITC) at 110 pt font - birthday printed (LD Red Hatter's Hand) at 26 pt font in black.

Everyday Card - Butterflies

Here is a card that I made with stamps and markers.  I like the way butterflies turned out but I am unsure of the matting.  When doing the matting I was trying to incorporate the color of the butterflies. It turned out well but it's not one of my favorites and I will revisit these butterflies again.

Supplies
Base - A2 Card - White
Mat 1 - 4" x 5 1/4" - Orange
Mat 2 - 3 3/4" x 5" - Light Blue
Mat 3 - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" - Yellow
Butterflies - 3 pack wood stamps I got at Michaels - Memento Tuxedo Black Ink - colored with Spectrum Noir markers

Child Birthday Card - Lollipop

I am looking towards Pinterest for inspiration more and more. I found a pin that used a colorful lollipop on an embossed card.  The playfulness of the card drew me in and I used the supplies I had

Child Birthday Card - Lollipop
